Took my cat in for issues of not keeping food down and walking slow. Kept him overnight and charged me 286 dollars. Never once got a call on what they were doing and getting approval for services. Gave me a diagnosis of nothing and took payment. Not happy at all. In my opinion that is unprofessional. Never took blood work and that I would have been happy to pay for. I will not take my animals here again and will be happy to pay more at another veterinary.
Absolutely amazing! The staff is always so polite, helpful and kind. Our puppy unfortunately got gravely ill over the Christmas holidays and they did everything they could to help him get better, and comfort our family in a difficult time. Unfortunately, his issue was too much for his body to take and he passed away. They called us and let us know he had taken a turn for the worse and advised we come in as soon as we could. When my husband got there, they were doing CPR and everything they could to save him. They continued to work on him until my husband couldn't stand him to be in any more pain. They allowed us to have time with him and plan what to do next at our own pace. They took such good care of him, and were so sensitive to our family's feelings and needs in the process. They handled everything for us. They even sent a lovely arrangement to us after his passing, and the Dr. and staff that cared for him sent us such a thoughtful card with condolences, and his nose print-something we hadn't even thought of in our grief and is so special to us now. We now have new puppies and have brought them here also. (Our breeder actually uses their services as well) I cannot say enough good things about this office, they are an amazing group of people who are very passionate about the work they do.
They're always quick and fairly easy to schedule appointments given how busy they are. You might say I've taken my pets to Dickman for my entire life, starting with my parents. I've tried other vets, but none stand up to the service and prices you get from here.
Amazing and friendly service. My family has been taking our dogs here as long as I can remember. Never used any other vet but from what I hear they are the best priced around. I now live an hour away from here and still won't take my dogs anywhere else! Dr. Pete and his staff go above and beyond every time!
They are very professional and genuinely love animals. The workers are all polite and patient with your animals. They keep the waiting rooms very clean. I believe they are opening a second location which is good. I have had some long waits a couple times, but usually get in on time and right away. Prices are very reasonable.
