The water in our brand new trailer was backed up and didn’t work the first almost 3 weeks we were there so we could not shower, use our own toilet, wash dishes, etc. manager said it would be fixed at the end of the week which turned in to 3 weeks. She gave us the keys to another empty trailer to shower and stuff, and that she cleaned it for us but it clearly wasn’t cleaned at all and we had to shower in a dirty disgusting lived in shower.
Our new community manager has been a welcome asset to Oak Forest. We absolutely love the changes within the community. She is very kind and helpful. Lynn thank you for your hard work. Never has Oak Forest had a more in the community , proactive property manager. 10 +++
Thank you Lynn for all of your hard work . Oak Forest is finally a place we can call home. Appreciate all of your hard work, you being on site and proactive has made a unbelievable difference. My wife and i appreciate everything you do for the community!!!
My boyfriend and I moved in to one of the brand new trailers and it was our first place together so we were very excited, but it turned sour immediately.
They had to tear up our yard to fix the plumbing which took 3 days. Once that was finally done we thought things would start going to normal, but no. Lynn is never actual in the office to answer phone calls to fix issues or answer questions. And after about a month of stay, we started seeing cockroaches and our stuff was infested. I began killing nearly 10 cockroaches a day. We tried bombing the house with a bug bomb but it didn’t work so they were coming from the rest of the trailer park. So we quickly got out of there before all of our things were permanently infested. Such a hassle to have to worry about taking cockroaches with you somewhere else.
Moved in here around June 2017, we set a date to sign all the papers and the office woman Lynn changed the date 3 different times, the first sign we shouldn’t have moved in here.
I'm really looking forward to making this place "home" for me and my family.
save yourself the trouble and DO NOT MOVE HERE!
If I could give a negative -10 raiting I would. They brought in a seadoned property manager, she cleaned this place up in less than a year. They fired her for doing her job, and dupporting tenants. The corporate office allowed the Regional managers to get rid of the Oak Forest manager, they brought in an acting Manager that had absolutely no clue how to do anything. Do they even have sn education or ANY property msmagement expierience ? I doubt it!!! Did anyone even train them to do what there definitley not qualified to do. They sit outside the office on a lawn chair in their pajamas and house slippers and smoke cigarettes all day. A green folding camp chair to be correct. Never seen such unprofessionalism in the 29 plus years I have lived here. Save your self and your money. DONT live here. Sewer back ups alk the time. I have human fecies backing up in my tub and sink. Water is shut off all the time with zero notice, contractors break gas lines and water lines and power lines and try to charge the residents for the repairs. Regional and Corporate dont pay contractors, work takes forever to get done, if done right at all. Im a senior citizen and a United States Vet, Ive lived here more than 20 years, I have to pay to move my home out of here for my own health and safety. My wife passed away here , and I have to leave her spirit with this. God Speed my LOVE. STAY AWAY!!!@
