From the few minutes I'm inside waiting for a pizza I can tell that the staff enjoys working together. This sets a positive vibe even if I sometimes have to wait longer on food than I expect.
Very courteous, friendly service. Pizza a high score compared to others in area. Service is everything. A lot of adjacent businesses in the area have employees who just don't care and when you walk up to the counter they greet you with a scowl on their faces, you wonder did you do something to piss them off because they act like it. Resulting in my Never returning. Howie's got good Service!. Like Arnold says I'll be back.
Just ordered delivery and was called about 30-35 minutes after our order was placed and was told that we are out of their radius and that they can’t deliver to us. The manager said we could come pick it up if we wanted to. The pizza should have already been on its way to us as they said it would be 45 minutes. A simple “we made a mistake and I’m really sorry but in the future, we won’t be able to drive the extra .4 miles to you” would have been a much better approach then the manager saying “we have new people and I haven’t been here for a while” so we won’t deliver it. The way the manager handled her employees simple mistake was beyond wrong and then cutting me off while on the phone so I could barely say a word made it even worse. Thanks for the awful service, we won’t be ordering from here again and I will be telling everyone of our experience.
Hungry Howies as a franchise has amazing pizza, However, it gets old getting cold pizza. You can complain and they can give you free pizza, but it doesn't change that your next pizza is still going to be cold. 1hour+ delivery time every time. I understand you get busy sometimes, but if you're running behind, wait 10 minutes to make my pizza before it sits on the rack waiting to be delivered. Love the pizza but they either need another store or more employees.
I've only ate here three times so far but they have been the best of the franchise style places. Papa John's has really been slacking in their pizzas but hungry Howie's has been great.
