Just drove an hour and a half to look at and bought a nice used Chrysler Town And Country van at a fair price. Dealt with a man named Rich. I really appreciated his sincerity and honesty and would recommend the Henkel Auto group to anyone . I read a few negative comments about Henkel on this site and would say they're probably "baloney". I'm sure Henkel doesn't always get it right but in my experience, they would not knowingly misrepresent any vehicle without making it right. After all , they would not have grown to be a significant car dealership without the integrity, honesty, and professionalism that I experienced there. I would shop there again.
They replied and said that they were going to tell me before purchasing/paying for the car.
I understand that the car was “could be” repaired by the factory, but why not disclose that ahead of time?
Good Luck with the service department...any question you ask will be greeted with skepticism and an argument. Apparently their stance is customer is always wrong unless you can twist their arm into doing their job. They pushed the Jeep Wave program and yet they seem hate having to honer it...go figure. They are receiving 1 star until they can train their employees to have respect for their customers.
Good thing that I insisted on seeing the Carfax before wasting my time with them.
I get a reply that the car is available and is in a great shape. Yet, nothing about the Carfax. The email asks me when do I like to come and have a look at it.
Service was of course great, this was before we bought our vehicle from them. The first car we test drove was in awful condition. Salesman was a little "old-school" pushy, trying to sell something that Im surprised didnt break down during the test drive. Afterward, he showed off something in a lot better shape, much newer and around the same price, probably because we wanted to leave. We informed him that we were waiting on our credit union to give us an amount they would approve us for, instead, we ended up sitting at the desk filling out paperwork for what were told was just a starting point. We informed our sales person that we would not work with any other banks. The next thing we know, we're in the financial office after being told we were approved for the amount of the vehicle we ended up really liking from the credit union we wanted. After we signed documents to make the vehicle ours, we are informed of the broken spare key to which they said they would have taken care of. After two weeks, we get a phone call saying that the key cant be repaired but we can take it to another dealership that is specific to our make and they would take care of the bill. This did not happen. When I walked in to inform them of the cost and what needed to be done, they inisisted that because they do not specialize in that make, there is nothing they can do but recommend someone they do business with, suggesting they could get us a better price, after having said they would pay for the repair/replacement. This is how Henkel's used car department is ran. Our vehicle hasnt needed service since we bought it, however, when it comes to integrity, they prefer not to have any. I do not recommend doing business here unless you or someone you know is savvy enough to Dodge their tricks. Definitely not a great place for first time car buyers, like we were at the time.
I am completely satisfied with the service I received at Henkel. Gale Cvitkovic made my whole experience a GREAT ONE! I love my Jeep!!! Thank you
I would avoid such a tricky behavior and attitude. Even if it was a new car, I would be hesitant, and should try to get it from another dealer.
I contact them inquiring about a used vehicle that has only 4k miles on it. I asked “anything wrong with it?” “also, can you send me the Carfax because it is not listed on your website”.
I emailed back, “can you send me the Carfax?”, reply came “here you go” LOL, the Carfax is showing it with a Lemon rebranded title!! Why wouldn’t they list that on their website? Why not include the Carfax? Why invite me to come over and try the car out when it is a Lemon?
The funny part is that their price of that car was on bar with a clear title car!!
