I've been here almost my whole life. I hate every second I'm here. Not because it's school, because of the people and the school.
The Principles are wonderful.

I couldn't have been happier to leave this school. Most of the teaching staff was neglectful, unkind and insulting. Students are treated as mindless nothings. You're no longer a "human being". I could write stories of countless incidents I witnessed involving drugs, sexual assault & sexual assault claims dismissed and physical assault & bullying. Not to mention the student deaths, bus accidents and other serious issues that weren't handled seriously or properly. Their lack of informing parents of above incidents and other numerous incidents. Parents are completely left out of the information loop half of the time or informed last. Pennfield was the worst school I've ever attended and I can say with full confidence as a graduated (not from that disaster of a school) married and moved on adult I will ever send my children to this wreck of an establishment. I'm horrified with the stories I still hear and lack of awareness, involvement and effort put in to these matters.(Such as the above mentioned, student sexual assault, the numerous bus accidents and several student deaths) the dismissive attitude of the staff, the belittling behaviors and treatments of students is sickening. The lack of information provided to parents.My experience with pennfield was humiliating, belittling and made a permanent impact on my life as a teenager. The bullying and drug issues are more severe then staff seem to be aware of. I know many students still in attendance who are experiencing the same treatment and wouldn't recommend this school to other future students. I don't appreciate the lack of communication and community found at this school. I wouldn't recommend sending your children here.
