This is a large park that hosts many different sporting events. There are also trails and playgrounds. This park is probably the best one to take your kids to in this area. Certainly not a peaceful, quiet setting, but it is a great place for recreation and exercise.
Facility is extremely nice, great setting but... The park is close to multiple restaurants, has a nice river walk to the south and has a small kids park. Facility is very clean BUT it is the dustiest field you will ever play on. They either have the wrong surface and/or never water it. If you are playing in May, June, July, August or September plan on wearing glasses to protect from dust. Scoreboards were not used during the USSSA event.
A wonderful complex that seems to suffer from being too big to maintain. Volleyball nets are never in good shape. Baseball fields are adequate at best, with powdery sand that is hard to field the ball through. The worst is that the cost keeps climbing and the quality keeps falling.
Great family place and also fun for adults to watch the game and have a great time..
Several Baseball and Softball fields along with a semi pro team stadium. MI High School held the Baseball and Softball state championship games here for several years. Summer/Fall 18 & under tournaments just about every week.
