A unique experience. Pizza is thin crust and toppings are generous, possibly too generous sometimes. They are flexible and will make your pizza any way you would like. Their salad is really good too, which might be a surprise to some. A great place to bring your family.
Pizza Sam's has been my "Go To" for almost 40 years. It's not fancy, it's not eclectic, it's not trendy. It's solid.

If your looking for a cheap pizzeria go to little Caesar's. But if your looking for a good pizza. Pizza Sam's is it.
And i like this pizza. Especially the big daddy supreme. Nice family run Pizzeria.
My Dad started taking me there when I was so young I barely had teeth. I introduced my son to it as well. And I look forward to the day when I can take the grandchildren there as well and show them not only good pizza but generations of owners that care and succeed in local business without corporate backing, commercials and toys.
If you talk to employees most are very kind and will get to know you. Makes for an enjoyable experience over the years!
Service: like I said, family run business since forever and these guys (all of them, not just the family members) bend over backwards to take care of you.
[EDIT] - Recently they've hired some new crew. I have to say I'm not impressed. The pizza quality has gone down a couple notches (hence, losing two stars on the review for my still local favorite)
I forgot to order the veggie pizza with no cheese, and when I got there I told them this. They were very rude and their customer service was atrocious. "The pizza is already made, it can't be unmade. You can order another one and pay for it" was the response I got. I paid for both pizzas because my bf wanted his, otherwise I would have walked out and not paid for either one. We've been customers for many years, but will go elsewhere now.
Being always on the search for the perfect pie after moving back to Battle Creek we decided to go back to the pizza parlor we used to visit 40 years ago. Pizza Sam's is not what it used to be, it is even better. Generous with their toppings on top of a perfect crust with cheese that stretches like it does in television commercials. We have returned a number of times and have never been dissatisfied. The only thing that surpasses the excellent pizza is their customer service.
I'm a pizza snob. I am a very picky pizza lover.
Family run business for as long as I can remember (three generations if I'm not mistaken). The Decor shows this, they are community supporters. Local league trophies adorn the walls as well as local crafts and art. I don't remember when they didn't have a Pac-Man game in the corner and there is always and interesting, if not classic pinball table as well.
